Another one of those Chi vs InStyler questions?

I would've suggested the Chi when it first came out, but now that they make it differently, it doesn't work the same. Supposedly the product was made in a certain area, then changed to being made in China, so the quality isn't as good. The InStyler SUCKS, even if your hair is already straight. I've used it on at least 3 people with different hair textures, it was terrible! I actually suggest you buy a GHD flat iron, the original version. It works amazingly, no matter the texture, no matter the type, no matter the curl pattern, it works really good! It is costly though, so if you're wanting to buy a Chi, I say go with getting GVP Black Ceramic Flat Iron from Sally's Beauty Supply Store. It only cost $60, and a lot of people say it works the same, if not better than the CHI, but I haven't tried it, so I can't say.

I would like to first say I read the book and I did enjoy it. However, I am having trouble with thinking of character traits for Mr. Dupin/Poe. I need to list 4 of his character traits. My 1 year old refuses to eat?

My 12 month old daughter refuses to eat anything except cheerios, yogurt bites and puffs. She is in feeding therapy but I want to know from other Moms. She has almost starved to death (sent to PICU) because she wont eat. She gets pediasure once a day right now (it can be 2 a day but I can't help but wonder if this is filling her up too much). she used to try things, now she refuses everything. she hasn't eaten ehough to fill her stomach (without the pediasure) in over a month. I don't understand, is this a battle of wills? Her FT wants me to make her a varitable banquet and stand on my head to get her to eat it she just throws it on the floor or turns her head away. All she does is through it on the floor. Please help, I am so afraid and frustrated. Oh, she is on all the meds she can be on for reflux.

I have checked virtually everything. Pour gas down TBI, starts fine. Red wire at injector reads 12 Volts constant. Replaced injector no luck. No reading at light blue ground side (no + or - or continuity to ground). Fluke meter shows no reading on TBI when cranking engine. Checked individual wire continuity from back of ECM on both red and blue TBI wires(red becomes black/pink) - good. Cannot get ECM to enter diagnotic mode (flashing engine light 1-2 sequence) with tester or grounding with a paper clip. Fuses good. Truck overall too good shape to get rid of. Tired of replace and pray with electrical problems

I've never really been the best at having friends, keeping friends, talking to people, or...anything having to do with being social, really. I would guess it is less complicated than that. If your vision is not good in one eye, that would be an obvious reason. However you could be have different amounts of far sightedness. You can accommodate to see with either eye but you can't focus them both at the same time. Another possibility is that you have some misallignment of your eyes.

Americans have declined in health on a steady scale since the advent of the television. Kids watch it more than playing outside, or they "sit" and play video games that might promote hand eye coordination, but nothing more. (I do think the Wii looks like a great idea, too pricey though). Adults have watched television in the evenings replacing sitting and talking or reading a good book. If you watch TV shows they are for the most part very unrealistic, and always have been. When I was growing up I really believed there were families like the Brady's. There had to be families that had no "real" problems, no struggles outside of will Marsha's nose keep her from going to the dance, and who didn't seem to have to even work to make ends meet. Maybe we have pushed so much of those lifestyles into our televisions and our homes that we think our families, as dysfunctional as they may be, are not normal. I believe dysfunction is normal. How to tell if VTEC is engaging on my 1995 Honda Prelude?

Hello, I have a 1995 VTEC Prelude with an H22. The car has no check engine lights, I have reset the ECU, checked and cleaned the VTEC solenoid screen (which wasn't necessary), full tune-up and engine flush (before screen cleaning). Anyways, in my previous H22 1993 prelude it was very obvious that the VTEC was kicking in, in this car it drives very nice and accelerates good past VTEC crossover rpm limit, but is hard to tell if it's really engaging. The other lude did have a 3" exhaust and this is stock. How can I be sure???

Golf 3, 1993 model, diesel radiator fan not working. Now, with a light tester I conected the positve terminal of the battery to the Fan negative wire and i got light, I then connected the positive terminal of the thermoswitch socket to the negative therminal of the battery and i got light, I then bridge the thermo-switch connector red wire and the red/black wire and the fan turned ( I have changed the thermoswitch yet it did not work) I then bridge the thermo-switch connector wire to the red/white wire and i got a blown fuse. Again, when the fan turns it makes little squeaking sound and its turn couples of times freely and it will seize, when i turn the blade with my hand it was stiff as if its binding. I suspect the fan is bad and has broken the new thermo-switch; Doe any one have Idea what I am missing or needed to be done before I change the fan and thermo switch? and did the fuse blow as a result of wrong connection or its normal or the high speed system is causing the entire prob?

We've had Sirius for two years now. It works great in the car, great in the boombox, but so-so at the house. You just have to make sure the receiver is placed properly. If we mounted the house receiver better I'm sure it would be better. We have the starmate and the only thing I have trouble with is finding a station with no fuzz - my starmate won't get the low FM station numbers but my husband's does (89.5 or something) and his has no fuzz. 17 month old toddler eating habbits?

How do you get your toddler to eat? My daughter will eat basically anything- broccoli, carrots, soups, stews...Sounds good,ha? BUT I HAVE TO constantly entertain her!!! I've been having a really hard time getting to sleep lately. Hi, I have tried to post a couple of reviews on the site of Felix www.felixs.com, oh, sorry, www.forexs.com, and after 72 hours as it was promised on the site, my reviews have never been added, the reviews were positive but they never made it. What was even worse, I tried a couple of times, and on one occasion it was published, when the review was a bit moderate and grey and was not very upbeat, because of course it would downgrade the beauty and trading expertise of such mighty forex trader as Felix himself, anyway, the post was on the site for a day or 2 and then enigmatically disappeared into unknown or Felix Bin. Bin capitalized as I am pretty sure many people who tried to leave reviews had encountered the same issue. So I would like to hear some fellow traders who had bad experience trading with Felix as I ume you would not be able to read any bad feedback on his site which promotes other 4 sites that he runs, making it a well of stale water without truth n light

Is 'can't remember' a reasonable excuse?

My da has been thrashing me for years, ever since I was an infant, and this and the previous year I've stood up against it and asked him why he does such things. he looked absolutely stricken surprised and blank, then told me that he didn't remember doing anything to me. I know that when his switch flicks and he's gone into bucking-bronco/bull mode he's a different guy that's pure aggressive and violent. never hit my mother or anyone else (as far as I know), just takes it out on me because I'm always the kid who stays standing throughout. Yeah sure I'm standing and not wailing like a baby or my other sibs, but on the inside I'm a wreck. I been cutting myself for a few years and quit recently with a ton of lone willpower; he's pissed at seeing me bite my lip, it's indescribable how whacko he gets when he sees scars or scabs on my arms and/or legs. Is this 'I can't remember' bullsh** acceptable? Could he really just not recall his insane rages? I know he was beat up real bad when he was a kid and so was his ma but.... really?

My best friend had her friend from Wisconsin at her house. She paid for his plane ticket to Vermont because she really wanted to meet him in person. They'd been talking to each other online and through text for the past three years They had an online relationship and he was always telling her he loved her. He also tried driving a wedge between my best friend and I by saying that I was "putting ideas in her head" about him hitting on her other friends and that she shouldn't listen to me because I was trying to push him out of the picture. My best friend had been hurt before by boys like him that used her niceness against her for free stuff and someone to push around and I was wary. On the day of his flight home, my best friend was in tears and even then he didn't kiss her goodbye or tell her he loved her at all. Once we were in the car, he sent her a text that said "If Lisa hadn't been there I would've kissed you goodbye." I felt that this was a total cop out and a lame excuse for not loving and treating her like he claimed he did through texts. I was really angry. Why is my brother acting like this over a girl?

Well, before I start let me just say that my brother is in his senior year in highschool. He's my brother, but he's so handsome, jet black hair, dark blue eyes, tall, very muscular, jawline, long lashes, tanned. Suffice to say, girls not only in his school, but everyone who sees him says he's the best looking guy they've ever seen, and he's very popular with the girls in his school. Question for anyone who has or is currently living in Colorado please?

Have any of you men out there found it extremely difficult to find and/or talk to single women in Colorado? I have tried to "put myself out there" and it simply isn't working for me. I've tried online dating, going to regular bars, restaurant type bars, the gym, etc and the state of Colorado has absolutely failed me in this regard. HELP! Baby Green finches left in nest, 3 dead, two alive......URGENT!?

Three baby greenfinches got thrown out of their nest today (there were 5) so I put them back in and left them.....the nest looked too small to fit them all tho and it was rather precariously built......anyway..........went back to check a few hours later and two had completely disappeared...one was on the floor dead and two were left in the nest. I left them there and have been watching but havent seen the parents go back. It is now raining and cold and I'm sure these birds should be sat on to keep warm? Not sure how old they are but cant be very old, they only have a little fuzz, one has its eyes open but the other is still closed. I want to know should I bring them in and keep them warm till I can take them to the vets in the morning and if so should I feed them anything? yes you can overcook it in broth as in anything else. i suggest you slow cook it (low heat and not a rolling boil). depending on what size of chicken you have, a whole 1.5 kilo it should be fork tender in an hour and a half. more than that and the meat will become mush and too soft. even if its fork tender there should still be some bite to the meat.

Factory wheels stolen?

I had to put the same wheels back on my car after all 4 were stolen because of insurance rules. It's a Honda Fit. I now have wheels locks. I am parked in a lot with security cameras and I am considering getting a tilt alarm system. Well I'm sorry that this does not entirely answer your question, but I think you have to look at more factors than just what her life and the book have in common. Though there are many similarities between the two, I think there is something else behind Bronte writing it. She and her siblings were all rather reclusive. Charlotte, Emily, Anne, and Bramwell all stayed in their house and read. They were very educated and well read people, but they stuck to themselves and each other. They were too immersed in their writing to actually socialise. And so because Emily was so well read, but had nobody but her siblings to talk to, I t think she created Wuthering Heights as her dream land, her escape, so to speak. It was only in her writings did she experience this pionate love, like that of Catherine and Heathcliff, so I think this could actually be one of the primary reasons Bronte wrote it.
