Ozone "Patching"???

if we are worried about ozone and other greenhouse ges down here, and global warming, why are we trying to focus on fewer smog if that won't do anything? sure it will help reduce ozone depletion, but can't we focus on patching the ozone layer up as in, pressurizing a McDonnell Douglas KC10 Extender with Ozone and fly up to about 40,00 feet and release it?, after all jet engines, stimulate ozone production, so why can't we just do that in addition to green living?
