Ideas for a romantic game (LDR)?

My boyfriend and I are in a LDR. We are scheduled to meet in a nearby city next week. I would like to surprise him by leaving little tokens or likewise at all the stops he will make on the way to the hotel. For example, something at the rental car check-in, something with the valet, something at the hotel's front desk, etc. I need some ideas of things to leave. Some places are leery about packages left with them, so they need to be within reason. Please help!
