If David Duke supported socialism would his past as a KKK leader be forgiven? ?

It all depends on how big your smile is, how well you're dressed, and if you look good on camera (the camera adds ten pounds you know...that must make Teddy a lot bigger than even he knows). It also depends on what you agree with, and if you give the media what it wants...a juicy story that can boost their circulation. I could spend hours writing out a list of names of those who've got lots of skeletons (both exposed and hidden) in their closets, but what would it matter? I was told, numerous times, that it didn't matter who was running as the Democratic nominee, they'd still vote for them. I can imagine that if Teddy ran, he'd have gotten elected too. But, he's been told "hands off" the White House, because of what happened to his brothers. People have a short memory. Those who are telling you to check your facts either weren't born when Teddy made headlines, or can't read themselves. I remember all the headlines and news stories about Ted's dip into the river. The media wasn't so controlled back then, and it wasn't too pretty. But, I guess time erases everyone's sins, or at least if you're a liberal senator. When it gets down to it, there's not a person standing (or laying) who hasn't done something to be ashamed of somewhere in their past. And the longer you live, the more you drag with you. When you throw your hat into the political ring, those sins will come back with a vengeance, as many have found out. Even Joe the plumber has found out what speaking out costs. And on this site, if you speak out, you get deleted. So much for free speech. But I can't malign free speech too much, as here I am doing that very thing. So as for forgiveness, the only kind I'm really concerned about is the forgiveness of Jesus. That's one of the few things that will live forever. As for the rest of the political bunch, I have nothing more to say about. They've made their beds, so will have to share it with those that agree with them. <*)))><
