Question for anyone who has or is currently living in Colorado please?
Have any of you men out there found it extremely difficult to find and/or talk to single women in Colorado? I have tried to "put myself out there" and it simply isn't working for me. I've tried online dating, going to regular bars, restaurant type bars, the gym, etc and the state of Colorado has absolutely failed me in this regard. Does one need to be born and raised in Colorado Springs and/or Denver in order to find a g/f, date, and get married here? If so, I can and will gladly move back to the southeast (no Coloradoans, I'm not a Texan). I try to talk to women when I am out places, but they always just ignore me. Back home, I've been told by married women my own age that I am an attractive man so I don't understand what's wrong with my situation since I cannot find a g/f for the life of me. The only thing that I haven't tried here is becoming a member of a church or joining the meetup website. Is Colorado just a shi**y state to be a single guy in? Perhaps I should just move back to the tarheel or volunteer state. I didn't date while in high school due to my terrible self esteem and didn't date while in the Marine Corps because Marines are not welcome in the cities surrounding Camp Lejeune, N.C.. I have been out of the Marine Corps for almost five years now, have been in C-Springs for almost five years now and cannot find anyone. Why is this? Is it due to Fort Carson, the Air Force Academy, Peterson and Shriever Air Force bases being here, along with Cheyenne mountain? Maybe it is because of all of the military here. I didn't realize that I had moved to another Jacksonville, N.C. a.k.a. dude fest. I am trying to desperately figure out if its the city of Colorado Springs that is the problem or is it me that has the problem? I am about to go out and seek out a therapist/psychologist over this very issue since I am 28 and have never even had a g/f before.
