Romeo and juliet?

i need some help! :) i'm writing a paper on romeo and juliet! i need to explain how shakespheare uses language and imagery to establish romeo's state of mind. the selection from the play i'm using is in 3.3 here: http://www.kidsnewsroom.org/elmer/infocentral/stories/shakespeare/romeo/3.3.html .. then go a little bit down to where it start's with romeo saying: 'Tis torture, and not mercy .. can anyone help me outtt?! :] pleaseee! i really don't know where the 'language' or 'imagery' is, or how to explain it with his state of mind.
