Evolution against Creationism-- Please help?

What I really want to know is where did the very first life forms come to be? If it wasn't for these life forms evolutionists wouldn't have evidence to backup their theory of evolution. It is like saying the earth hatched from an egg. Where did the egg come from? Why can't there be a supernatural life force that started all this? Can someone please clarify for me. I'm trying to do this paper on evolution v.s creationism. I was a supporter of evolution but now I have doubt about it. Your help is much appreciated. Thanks.
